Steps to Rearrange Songs in Spotify Playlists For Android Users:

  • Step 1/ Open the Spotify app on your Android device and navigate to the playlist you want to rearrange.
  • Step 2/ Once you’re on the playlist screen, find the three dots (Dots menu / Dots Icon) icon at the Upper Right corner of the screen. Tap on it to access the menu options.
    (The Spotify User interface is tricky, they keep changing the 3 dots, try to find it patiently)
  • Step 3/ In the menu options, look for the “Edit Playlist” button and tap on it. This will allow you to make changes to the playlist.
  • Step 4/ Now, you’ll see three bars on the right side of each song in the playlist. Tap and hold on to the three bars of the song you want to move.
  • Step 5/ Drag the song to the desired position in the playlist and release your finger. The song will now be in its new position.
  • Step 6/ Repeat steps 4 and 5 for any other songs you want to rearrange.
  • Step 7/ Once you’re satisfied with the new order, tap the “Done” button at the top-right corner to save your changes.

Steps to Reorder Songs in Spotify Playlists for iOS Users:

  • Step 1/ Open the Spotify app on your iPhone or iPad and locate the playlist you want to rearrange.
  • Step 2/ On the playlist screen, swipe down to reveal the search bar at the top.

  • Step 5/ You’ll now see three bars on the right side of each song in the playlist. Tap and hold on to the three bars of the song you want to move.
